The Grove Barbershop carries with it the history of several iconic barbershops here in Oak Ridge. After the merger of Ken’s and the Original Grove Barbershop, the owners simply called it The Barbershop. Jeff Hackler is now behind the buzz on the nostalgic shop and we will be bringing back The Grove Barbershop name to preserve all the history and nostalgia of our storied community. Jeff is an avid runner and is active in local outdoor enthusiast clubs as well as in the community. He enjoys interacting with his clients and using his craft to help them look and feel their best.

Amanda Wyrick is our in-house stylist and she has been cutting and styling hair for 10 years. Amanda specializes in haircutting and it shows in both her award-winning cuts and her passion for what she does.

I am originally from East Tennessee and love the beauty of our area. If I don’t cut my hair, you’ll probably find me running trails in the woods or paddling on the lake. My early career began in the mid-1990s in the grocery wholesale business as a merchandiser, sales rep, and coordinator. I have enjoyed serving my customers and employees in this company for many years. In 2010, I decided to change careers and get into the spa business.

I enjoyed my work in the industry and decided to further my education in 2014 by attending the Tennessee School of Beauty. I received excellent instruction from people who knew their trade. I decided to focus my attention on the haircut and more specifically on the clipper cut. I started working at the Barber Shop at the Grove Center in 2015. I have had the privilege of working under 2 master barbers with over 35 years of combined experience. In May 2017, I had the opportunity to buy the hair salon from the previous owners who decided to retire.
