Engine Jano, although small, could develop such a great power because of reduced unit displacement (250cc) which had increased by 200% about the thermal performance compared to the standards. Sports versions of the 1500 Alfa Romeo were almost immediately with a double camshaft in the head and a system supercharger allowing the 6C 1500 to win in the ’28 Mille Miglia, the 24 Hours of Spa, the Targa Florio and the circuit of Modena.
