The 2021 Bugatti Divo is a medium-track track sports car developed and manufactured by Bugatti Automobiles S.A.S. The 2021 Bugatti Divo is named after the French driver of the Albert Divo race, who twice won the Targa Florio race, which was run by the Bugatti team in the 1920s. Divo’s production is limited to 40 units and the car will be built alongside Chiron at the Bugatti factory.
All Bugatti Divo 40 cars were pre-sold to the owners of Chiron through a special invitation from dealers before being released to the public. The Bugatti Divo was sold out on the first day. In April 2020, 2021 Bugatti Divo entered the final phase of testing, when shipments began a year later.
2021 Bugatti Divo Features
The 2021 Bugatti Divo has taken inspiration from the Bugatti Type 57SC Atlantic with its Bugatti Vision Gran Turismo concept in terms of design and focuses on-track performance. The car has a redesigned exhaust system with four exhaust pipes, a 1.8-meter-wide fixed rear wing, a NACA tube on the roof that directs the car’s rear wing to the rear wing, and finally a rear wing to improve the floor. a large front chin spoiler, more refined side skirts, larger air intakes at the front, new headlights and tail lamps, better ventilation to cool the radiator in the bonnets, and wind brakes to cool the winds in the front wheel arches.
The interior of the Divo is similar to the more luxurious Chiron but features Alcant upholstery and carbon-fiber trim to save weight. Other notable changes include stiffer springs and dampers, carbon fiber washer blades and refrigerator cover, fluted spoke spokes, reduced sound insulation, a lighter sound system, and removal of storage cabinets on doors and center console to save 35 weights. kg (77 lb) on top of Chiron Sport. The engine, a four-turbocharged W16 unit, is maintained from Chiron along with a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission.
2021 Bugatti Divo Performance
The car is 8.0 seconds faster than the Chiron around the Nardò test track, according to the manufacturer, and produces a sharp weight of 456 kg (1,005 lb) at high speed, 90 kg (198 lb) more than the Chiron. The maximum speed, however, is reduced to 380 km / h due to the extra drag caused by the aerodynamic elements and the lower pressure of the vehicle due to the excessive pressure. Power output has not changed with Chiron, ranging from 1,103 kW (1,500 PS; 1,479 hp) to 6,700 rpm and 1,600 N⋅m (1,180 lb⋅ft) to 2,000 to 6,000 rpm. Acceleration from 0-100 km / h (62 mph) also didn’t change in Chiron’s 2.4 seconds, but the Divo has more lateral acceleration. Divo is missing the top speed mode unlocked with a special key in Chiron.
2021 Bugatti Divo Safety
The Bugatti Divo has not been tested by the NHTSA or IIHS, so no reliable data is available, but seeing professional racing car drivers trust those lives should be enough to keep the mind calm. Security systems include a rear camera with front and rear parking sensors, an advanced traction and stability program, as well as front, side bump, and 2021 Bugatti Divo curtain airbags.
