2020 Acura RDX
The 2020 Acura RDX is a full-size crossover SUV that offers an exciting driving experience along with the best in class luxury and performance. The Acura RDX 2020 Type-S offers something different in the small luxury SUV class. The 2020 Acura RDX SH-AWD A-Spec Package has a variety of technologies available, a well-built interior, excellent ergonomics, and is better than average for cargo and passengers. The buyer certainly likes them a lot and, for their functionality, they are much more expensive than the European alternatives.
Acura RDX has some weaknesses compared to its higher competitors. The 2020 RDX SH-AWD A-Spec Package offers decent power with a four-cylinder turbocharged engine, but there is no option for more engine upgrades or buyers looking for a hybrid option. Also, we don’t really like RDX’s infotainment system.
The learning curve needed to operate can turn off traders who are not interested in receiving new technology. Overall, the 2020 Acura RDX is worth looking for in a luxury SUV, especially when compared to European rivals such as the Audi Q5, Jaguar F-Pace, and Mercedes GLC.
2020 Acura RDX Features
The base versions are quite well-stocked, as many luxury equipment buyers are expected and some are optional for competitors. The AcuraWatch driver assistance kit is standard. It is an infotainment system that includes a touchpad interface, a 10.2-inch central screen, and Apple CarPlay smartphone integration. The technology package adds more features, such as navigation, leather upholstery, blind-spot tracking, rear-wheel alert, and an upgraded 12-speaker sound system.
2020 Acura RDX Interior
Inside, the RDX is similar to the A-Spec, but it adds larger wheels and wider tires and some visual brilliance inside and out with black trim. Inside, there is a 16-speaker ELS Studio 3D surround-sound system. We like the look of the A-Spec, but there are no real performance advantages. The Advanced package includes the most functionality. The acoustical glass on the front door and the thicker mat make it more comfortable, and its suspension-adjustable dampers, handheld desk, adjustable front seats, 360-degree camera, and customizable headlamps provide comfort and convenience.
2020 Acura RDX Engine
All of the RDX is powered by the same powertrain, a 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine (272 horsepower, 280 lb-ft) connected to a 10-speed automatic transmission. The front wheel is standard, and a full-wheel drive is the only option. We’re fans of Acura’s SH-AWD option to add traction and handling ability.
2020 Acura RDX Safety
The 2020 Acura RDX was named the Top Safety Pick + by the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety. He received the highest rating in six accident tests. Depending on what is hidden, RDX’s lamps were awarded a Grade of Benefit or a Grade Two of Acceptable, because of their clear path. RDX, meanwhile, was awarded a Higher Score for its pre-emptive performance. The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration has awarded the 2020 RDX with a five-star safety rating. He won five stars in the side crash test and four stars in face-to-face and round-robin assessments.
The RDX is standard with a rearview camera and AcuraWatch system. Previous collision warning, automatic emergency braking advancement, adaptive cruise control, mitigate road departure, exit departure warning, and roadside assistance. Available blind spots include rear-view traffic alert, front and rear parking sensors, 2020 Acura RDX Tech Package surround-view parking camera and front-facing display.
