The 2019 Ford Ranger will return as a modern, new truck, having been out of the US market since 2011. The 2019 Ford Ranger is a full-size pickup truck. Ford Ranger 2019 is available with two cabin configurations: an extended cab (SuperCab) with a 6-foot bed or a 5-foot crew. The truck world has changed over the years, with half of General Motors, Honda and Toyota competing for new releases or getting updates. All of this provides comfort and safety features that were not available for decades.

Considering the latest F-150 and Super Duty-themed pickup, Ford is on the line for modest-scale trucks that can be ready for both neighborhoods and adventure. The Ranger fills that gap in crew cabin configurations. Two-wheel or four-wheel drive is offered. Ford markets the Ranger to appeal to thrill-seekers in the open air. We recently purchased one to find out how it measures its promises and established rivals. These are our first impressions.

2019 Ford Ranger Features

The 2019 Ranger XL base is relatively low, but there are some notable features. Also included with the emergency automatic braking is the collision warning.

On top of XL’s standard equipment, the XLT features 17-inch alloy wheels, front and rear parking sensors, headlamps, an upgraded grille, cruise control, automatic high beams, Ford’s Co-Pilot360 system, 110-volt voltage receiver and 4.2 are. -inch center screen with Ford Sync, an additional USB port, keyless remote door lock, 4G WiFi, and a six-speaker stereo.

The Ranger’s top tier is the Lariat, with all XLT equipment and 18-inch alloy wheels, LED headlamps and headlamps, LED charging lamp, adjustable power, and heating seats, leather upholstery, dual-zone automatic. climate control, an 8-inch touchscreen with Ford’s Sync 3 interface and Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity. Most of the above cover equipment can be an option on the lower trunks. Indirect control is available in XLT and Lariat to trim levels. The navigation system and Bang & Olufsen premium sound system are only available for Lariat.

Also, there are a couple of stand-out options. The FX4 Off-Road package is available in XL, XLT, and Lariat. Exterior tires, revised bumps and suspension tuning, electronically locking rear axles, front rail hooks, under-skid plates, ground management system and low-speed crawl control system. The Trailer Tow package is also available in three trim levels and adds a four-pin / seven-pin cable receiver along with a Class IV trailer leash.

He is a fishing guy. The front seat is nice and easy to get in and out of, but it’s not quite the same in the back cabin of the crew. Also, the front visibility is good, but the rearview is a different story. Our biggest complaint is the internal variable. While Ranger controls are generally easy to understand, some are disappointing. There are many physical buttons for the touch screen and many small buttons that make up the climate control interface every day. We do not like the design and operation logic of 4WD controls.

The doors of the doors are wide and the floor height is not too high. There is no driver’s side handle, but the front passenger receives one. Rear seat access is more difficult due to a lack of space for the toes. The driver’s seat is well positioned and the steering wheel telescope offers a good level of adjustment. The XLT’s manual seats, however, have a rough adjustment to the spine angle. Some drivers can’t find their perfect place.

2019 Ford Ranger Engine

There are also three trim levels: XL, XLT, and Lariat. All Rangers have a 2.3-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine paired with a 10-speed automatic transmission. Under the hood, there is now only one Ranger engine to get: a 2.3-liter four-cylinder turbocharged, 270 horsepower. Although we have chosen some of the electronics that we have preferred, this new mill satisfies this. It is embarrassing and provides plenty of strength to accelerate fast or pull a heavy trailer. The maximum tower capacity is 7,500 pounds sharp.

2019 Ford Ranger Safety

Safety features include front and rear parking sensors to prevent the object driver from both the front and rear of the vehicle at low speeds. Auto-braking warns the driver of the previous collision danger and can apply the brakes automatically if the driver does not react in time. And Lane-Keep Assist issues a warning when there is a lane change without activating a turn signal and may 2019 Ford Ranger provide driver input to keep the driver in the race.
