The five-seater 2019 Chrysler 300 is one of the traditional brands of large-size heaters. Power comes from the standard 3.6-liter V-6 engine with 292 horsepower or optional 363 hp, 5.7-liter V-8. Both engines have an eight-speed automatic transmission. V-6 versions are available with rear or all-wheel drive, and V-8 models only for RWDs. The 300 will compete with the Chevrolet Impala, Buick LaCrosse, Ford Taurus and Toyota Avalon. More and more consumers can turn to SUVs, but for those who want a large and comfortable full-size sedan, the Chrysler 300 fits the bill quite well. The 2019 Chrysler stands for comfort at the expense of handling performance, while its sibling, the Dodge Charger, focuses more on performance.

Chrysler’s intuitive Uconnect multimedia system is standard. It features an 8.4-inch touchscreen and connectivity for Apple CarPlay and Android Auto phones. Luxury options include an upgraded steering wheel, heated and ventilated front seats, Nappa leather upholstery, heated rear seats, a power tilt/telescope steering wheel and wooden molding. Other options include front and rear parking sensors, high-intensity discharge lamps, and a premium Harman Kardon stereo. Some of the advanced safety features available include an anti-crisis warning for automatic emergency braking, blind warning for rear traffic alert, adaptive cruise control, lane departure warning, and roadside assistance.

The Chrysler 300 has five people. Both rows of seats have plenty of space for comfortable adults, and it’s easy to get in and out of the car. However, the seats are not as supportive as some of the rivals and the thick columns of the roof limit visibility. The 300 comes with three full-seat car-seat connectors. The system achieves ease of use from the Institute of Highway Safety Insurance.

The Chrysler 300 feels like a luxury German sedan. It looks good, stays calm even at highway speeds, and uses cutting-edge materials throughout. With more than 16 cubic feet of trunk space, 300 provides enough space for all the family’s holiday luggage or four golf clubs.

The 300 is an 8.8-inch Uconnect infotainment system that includes a six-speaker audio system, satellite radio, Bluetooth, two USB ports, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Panoramic sunroof, navigation, and two premium audio systems are available. Uconnect infotainment is an intuitive and responsive system. This is one of the most widely used external systems. There are no large learning curves, and there are redundant physical controls in addition to the touch screen.

2019 Chrysler 300 Engine

The Chrysler 300 has two powerful engine options: 300: 292 horsepower V6 or 363 horsepower V8. Both engines drive this car well, and the V6 base is powerful enough for most drivers. However, the V8 delivers significantly faster, and buyers who are looking for the most enjoyable driving experience should be very considerate. This Chrysler sedan gets 19 mpg in the city and has 30 mpg on the highway with its V6 engine. Many rivals earn similar ratings. In fact, the 300 gets almost the same gas as the Chevrolet Impala and Dodge Charger on the V6.

2019 Chrysler 300 Safety

The 2019 Chrysler 300 received a four-star overall crash test from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration. The Insurance Institute for Highway Safety provided the best score of 300 in four accident tests and a Higher grade for its pre-emptive preventive features. 300 received a clear Marginal score on the minor driver side-by-side decline test and the Poor mark marker. The standard 300 comes with the rear camera. Available drivers features for 2019 Chrysler 300 include blind tracking, rear-wheel alert, front and rear parking sensors, forward collision warning, automatic emergency braking, lane departure warning, lane attendant and adaptive cruise control.
