The 2017 Chevrolet Camaro is an American automobile manufactured by Chevrolet, classified as a horse car and some versions also like muscle car. Chevrolet Camaro went on sale on September 29, 1966 for the 1967 model year and was designed as a competitive model for Ford Mustang. The 2017 Camaro shared its platform and its main components with Pontiac Firebird, also introduced for 1967. Four distinct generations of the Chevrolet Camaro was developed before the end of production in 2002. The nameplate was re-established in a concept car that became the fifth-generation Camaro, production began on March 16, 2009.

The Camaro was first shown in the press in Detroit, Michigan, on September 12, 1966 and later in Los Angeles, California, on September 19, 1966. The public introduction of the new model was on September 26, 1966. The Camaro officially went on sale at dealerships on September 29, 1966, for the 1967 model year. General Motors has made product placement or integrated marketing offers for Chevrolet Camaro in many media outlets.

The Chevrolet Camaro 2017 mode of the fictional character Bumblebee in the 2007 film, Transformers, is first described as Camaro 1976 and later a fifth generation concept variant. A modified fifth generation Chevrolet Camaro repeats the role of Bumblebee as a result, Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen, Transformers: Dark of the Moon and Transformers: Age of Extinction. The Chevrolet brand also provided most of the vehicles seen in the famous modern Hawaii Five-0.

2017 Chevrolet Camaro Engine

The initial production will have three engine versions: a 2.0-liter turbocharged in-line engine producing 275 hp (205 kW, 279 PS), a new 3.6 L V6 that makes 335 hp (250 kW, 340 PS) model of SS 6.2 L LT1 V8 with 455 HP (339 kW, 461 PS); the ZL1 will use a supercharged 650 hp (480 kW) based on the Z06 Corvette and transmissions are either six-speed manual or eight-speed automatic.

The Camaro 2016 will feature features from Apple CarPlay and Android Auto Capability. However, only one of your phone brands at any time can be used. The 2017 Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 has a maximum speed of 198 mph and a Nürburgring Nordschleife turning time of 7: 29.6.

2017 Chevrolet Camaro 1LE

For the 2017 model year, the performance package 1LE returns to the Camaro. The package is based on the success of the previous generation 1LE, providing better track management and performance. In response to customer demand, Chevrolet offers two different 1LE packages for the V6 and V8 models, each visually distinguished by a black satin hood, specific wheels and more.

For the 2018 model, Chevrolet presented the ZL1 1LE package for Camaro. The new package tested for three seconds faster on Milford Road Course from General Motors than the fastest 2017 Camaro ZL1. The ZL1 1LE performance kit introduces improved aerodynamics, a new adjustable suspension inspired by the race and new forged aluminum wheels with Goodyear Eagle F1 Supercar 3R tires created especially for the ZL1 1LE.

In general, the new performance package reduces the weight of the 27-kg (60-pound) car on the ZL1. The ZL1 1LE shares the supercharged 650 hp (480 kW) supercharged LTL from 2017 Chevrolet Camaro coupled with a six-speed manual transmission with Active Rev Match.
