2017 Audi R8
The 2017 Audi R8 is a 2-seating sports car, using the trademark Audi Quattro permanent all-wheel drive system brand. Audi R8 was introduced by German automaker Audi AG in 2006. The car is designed, developed and manufactured high-performance private company Audi AG, Audi Sport GmbH (formerly Quattro GmbH), and is based on the Lamborghini Gallardo platform. Construction of the basic R8 is based on the Audi Space Frame and uses an aluminum monocoque frame was constructed using the principles of space. The Audi R8 was developed by Quattro GmbH in the newly renovated “aluminum” Audi Neckarsulm in Germany.
In 2005, Audi announced that the name of the successful race car Audi R8 will be applied to the new car on the road in 2007, the 017 Audi R8 model, based on the Audi Le Mans Quattro concept car, appearing at the International Geneva Motor show 2003 and the International Frankfurt Motor show 2003. The 2017 Audi R8 Pus was launched in 2016 at Le Mans. 2017 Audi R8 V10 Plus US model went on sale as a 2016 model car with delivery from February 2017.
