2017 Alfa Romeo 6c
The 2017 Alfa Romeo 6c is a Luxury sports car was manufactured from 1927 to 1954 by Alfa Romeo, the “6C” name refers to 6-cylinders of the 2017 Alfa Romeo 6c’s straight-six engine. The early versions, Young 6C 1500 and 6C 1926 Touring 1500 to 1928, the names of English coachbuilders James Young and Italian Touring, mounted an engine six-cylinder in-line with a single overhead camshaft head of a cylinder capacity of 1 487cc developing 54 hp allowing it to reach 125 km/h. The 2017 Alfa Romeo 6c, engine of Jano, although small displacement, managed to develop a very important power precisely because of the small unit cylinder (250cc) which increases to 200% thermal efficiency compared to standard values of the time.

The Sports versions of the 2017 Alfa Romeo 6c 1500 are equipped in 1927 with a double overhead cam head and a supercharging system which allows the 2017 Alfa Romeo 6c 1500 win in 1927 Rambassada of the race in Spain and that same year the famous Enzo Ferrari won the race on the circuit, Modena. In 1928, the Alfa 6C 1500 Sport won the Mille Miglia, the 24 Hours of Spa, the Targa Florio and the tour of Sicily. The most powerful version is the 6C 1500 SS Testa Fissa where the cylinder head and block together form only one whose power is officially 84 hp and top speed to 155 km / h. Six copies of this model will be manufactured. The 6C 1500 Sports Spider of 1928 is the first spider of Alfa Romeo and a version is christened 6C 1500 NR in honor of Nicola Romeo who leaves the management of the company. 2017 Alfa Romeo 6c Customized
The Alfa Romeo 6C 3000 Competizione Maggiorata was created in 1952. The body was created by Carrozzeria Colli, a manufacturer of bodies of Milan, with some similarities to the 1900 Disco Volante. The propulsion system of this model came from a project carried out by Giuseppe Busso. It was different from its predecessor: it still used some of the components of the 3L system and 6 cylinders of the prototype 6C 3000, but the displacement of the engine was increased to 3495cc. After several evolutions, it reached a power of 275 HP.
CM 3000 were produced six units, four coupes, and two roadsters. With the coupe version, Juan Manuel Fangio and Giulio Sala got the second in the Mille Miglia in 1953. Fangio was leading the race, but the chassis problem forced him to slow down. Nevertheless, with Fangio, the roadster won the first Grand Prix Superstore Maggiore in Merano in 1953. 2017 Alfa Romeo 6c is exhibited today in the Museo Storico Alfa Romeo.
One of the two Alfa Romeo 6c roadsters was modified to conform to the new rules of the International Sports Category and the displacement was limited to 3 liters. This car was renamed PR, Step Ridotto (short wheelbase). This second roadster also belongs to the collection of the Museo Storico Alfa Romeo. During the sixties, the late period of the competitions, the 6C 3000 CM was used in the Department of experiments Alfa Romeo to test new components, including disk brakes, which is still present in that vehicle.
