2016 Volvo V40 is built hatchback upmarket feel refreshingly different to its German rivals. The new 2016 Volvo V40 is Volvo’s first direct rival for big-selling premium hatchbacks, such as the Audi A3, BMW 1 Series and Volkswagen Golf.

Volvo also provides Lux versions of both SE and R-design, leather upholstery, electric seat adjustable driver’s and more powerful, Xenon lights. And V40 is available in Nav form, which – unsurprisingly – brings satellite-navigation.

This includes City Safety system, which can stop running into the car in front in stop-start traffic. What’s more, there are stability and braking, electronic aids to reduce the chances of an accident, and the airbag in the event of an accident still proves unavoidable.
Volvo even fits a pedestrian airbag that pops up from under the bonnet to help cushion the blow should you hit a person. With all this, it is not surprising that the 2016 Volvo V40received fantastic scores for adult personal protection and protection of pedestrian crash tested by independent safety body Euro NCAP. However, the Audi A3, BMW 1 Series dwindled Golf all the points a little better for child protection on the individual.
