2015 Chrysler Town & Country is powered with 3.6L engine Pentastar® V6 delivers 283 horses and 260 lb-ft of torque with fuel economy ratings of 17 city / 25 highway mpg. With the available Trailer Tow Group, Town & Country can tow up to 3,600 pounds. The Standard Trailer Sway Control + recognizes when the car and / or trailer unexpected motion occurs that is not caused by steering input. The system then applies brake pressure to the wheels alternating and it is possible to adjust the engine throttle to help eliminate mislead and maintain vehicle and trailer system.
The Electronic stability control (ESC), standard all Chrysler Town & Country models, monitors your steering input and vehicle motion. When I hear the difference among intended path steered and the vehicle’s actual path, ESC apply selective braking and throttle control, to help guide the car back onto its course intended addressed.
