The 2019 GMC Sierra and 2019 Chevrolet Silverado are getting significant updates for the 2019 model year. Silverado’s blurry front is not for everyone, Sierra has a traditional design. Sure, it makes up 90 percent of the front grille, but it blends in nicely with the rough look of the truck and casts a huge shadow on most other cars on the road. GM’s mockery is kept step by step and while I think it’s ugly, its practicality can’t be beaten. However, your Sierra might pack the same MultiPro tailgate that my SLT-trim tester does. It is inside a sack that can be used as a laptop stand, large or step, or temporary bed extender. There are a few things that should help the server stand out with the buyers.
2019 GMC Sierra Interior
The interior is relatively easy to maintain, there is no big redo here. Instead, GMC is prone to popular gambling, largely as before. My crew cabin test consists of two very wide seats wrapped in comfortable leather, and the front row seats are separated by a center console capable of holding each tchotchke for life, including enough space under the cabinet for the entire bag.
2019 GMC Sierra Features
Today, all Sierras have the same 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system, which can be upgraded to include embedded navigation. Apple CarPlay and Android Auto are standard, however, navigation is still cheaper. There is also a 4G LTE WiFi. The infotainment system itself runs the latest version of GM’s software.
The new system has been slowly seen before moving to other GM’s from Cadillac, making this new system nicer and nicer, making its skeuomorphic past simpler and simpler. It also allows for indirect car customization, thanks to the user profile system that will bring the car to a car navigation destination and other data. The system is good, even better.
There are two parts to the system that I am obsessed with. The first is the Trailering app, which is a bit of a technology dedicated to collecting things. It offers checklists to make sure that the step is not (like electrical wiring) forgettable, and allows me to save multiple trailer profiles if I need a boat and a horse trailer the next. The other is the Camera app, which displays all possible angles of the truck, including a top-down view. For an additional $ 250, GMC will add an extra camera to each mirror, while the top-of-the-line camera also makes back-dragging much easier.
2019 GMC Sierra Engine
The 2019 Sierra base equipped with 5.3-liter V8, the 2019 Sierra can get EPA estimated 17-gallon city and 23 mpg highway, but my tester drops those 6.2-liter V8 numbers to 15 cities and 20 freeways. Fortunately, they play easily. Actually, the numbers seen with the 6.2-liter V8 were pretty close to the 5.3-liter estimates. That’s right without the truck or the attachment – a race car in the back or fill the bed with a rock, and all bets are gone.
2019 GMC Sierra Safety
The 2019 GMC Terrain features a favorite feature, In forwarding Collision Alert, which sounds an alert and lights up when the system detects a possible fault in the front. Then Lane Keep Assist picks up the vehicle on its way and slowly drives it to the center. Low-speed forward braking Automatic braking automatically applies when the 2019 GMC Sierra system detects a low-speed frontal crash.
