2017 Buick Enclave Features
The Enclave has a seven-passenger seat, with an optional second-row seat instead of the two standard captain’s chairs that increase the seat to eight. It comes standard with a front-wheel drive with four-wheel drive option. The 2017 Buick Enclave is often rented for its extensive cargo space while retaining the relatively dynamic nature of the non-fibrous construction on the body in conventional chassis. It is also recommended to be one of the quietest vehicles available for sale in the United States as well as for the quality of the interior.
In its first year of production, the Enclave has often been criticized for its 6-speed transmission, which “hesitated to slow down”. For 2009, however, the powertrain is considered more competent with a more abundant torque. For all its production, it was considered too heavy, weighing nearly 5,000 pounds (2,300 kilograms) with all-wheel drive. Buick VentiPorts reappeared in the introduction to the Enclave, a unique Buick style feature dating back to 1949.
2017 Buick Enclave Engine
The 2017 Enclave shares powertrains with its Lambda brothers. For its first year of production, the Enclave was powered by a 205 kW (205 kW) high performance 3.6L V6 engine coupled with a six-speed automatic transmission. For the 2009 model, an improved power increase for spark ignition with direct injection 3.6 L V6 is now 288 hp (215 kW) and 370 Nm (377 N.m) standard torque (also standard on other Lambdas 2009). This latest direct injection engine offers a wider torque curve and saves fuel at 17 mpg-US (14 mpg-imp) / 24 mpg-US (9.8 l / 100 km, For the FWD and 16 mpg-US models (15 L / 100 km, 19 mpg-imp) / 22 mpg-US (11 L / 100 km, 26 mpg-imp) for the 2017 Buick Enclave AWD models, New US Environmental Protection Estimate.
